01. Who we are & what this covers
In Touch Pest Control (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides pest control services in South Florida. This policy describes personal information handled through intouchpestcontrol.com, our customer service and scheduling activities, phone conversations, electronic communications, and careers applications.
Some services are delivered through other companies’ platforms. Their privacy notices explain their own practices; relevant links appear below. A separate notice or consent request may apply to a particular service or interaction.
02. Information we collect
- Contact and account details: your name, email address, telephone number, service or billing address, account details, and communication preferences.
- Property and service details: pest concerns, property type, information or photos you provide, appointment requests, estimates, service history, and instructions needed to carry out the work.
- Payments and transactions: invoices, payment status, purchase history, and information needed to process a payment. Payment providers collect payment credentials through their checkout or payment tools.
- Communications: emails, form entries, text or other messages, call details, and—when recording or transcription is enabled—audio, transcripts, and call summaries.
- Website activity: IP address, device and browser information, visited pages, referring links, interactions, and cookie or similar identifiers.
- Recruitment information: contact details, work history, availability, résumé, skills, and answers to job-specific screening questions.
We receive information directly from you, through use of our website, and from providers supporting the interaction, such as our customer management, payment, and telephone services.
Please do not put passwords, full payment-card details, Social Security numbers, or unnecessary medical or other sensitive information into general forms, messages, résumés, or conversations with the AI assistant.
03. How we use information
- Respond to questions, prepare estimates, schedule work, and deliver pest control services.
- Manage customer accounts, service records, payments, and appointment or billing updates.
- Route calls and messages, prepare summaries, and help our team follow up on requests.
- Review employment applications and communicate with applicants.
- Understand website performance, measure advertising results, and improve customer support.
- Send promotional communications where permitted and subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
- Maintain security, investigate misuse, resolve disputes, and meet recordkeeping or other legal obligations.
04. AI assistants, voice & call records
Our virtual phone assistant uses a third-party voice AI service. It can help gather service details, answer routine questions, and pass information to our team. The service processes your voice and the information you share to generate responses. Depending on the call settings, this can include recordings, transcripts, call timing and outcome information, and AI-generated summaries.
Our integration can provide staff with call summaries, transcripts, and recording links for follow-up. Information relevant to your request may also become part of your customer or service record. Processing may involve our voice AI provider and the technology providers supporting its service.
Our voice AI provider’s privacy notice includes service improvement and AI-model training among its processing purposes. How a particular interaction is handled also depends on the applicable service settings and agreements. Contact us if you have questions about these uses before sharing sensitive information.
AI can make mistakes. Ask our team to confirm important details such as pricing, appointments, service recommendations, or account changes. You can request a human follow-up, or email contact@intouchpestcontrol.com if you prefer another way to communicate.
Recording and transcription are subject to the notices and consent required by applicable law. This policy does not replace a call-specific recording notice or permission, and visiting this website does not itself authorize marketing calls or texts.
For questions about an AI interaction, a call record, or provider processing, contact us with the approximate date and telephone number used. Avoid sending sensitive information in that initial request. See Service providers & other disclosures for our current providers and links to their privacy notices.
05. Text messages, email & other messages
Communications may include replies to inquiries, appointment reminders, service updates, invoices, payment notices, and application confirmations. Where offered and permitted, promotional messages may be sent under the consent requirements applicable to that channel.
- Text messages: frequency varies with your requests and services. Your carrier’s message and data rates may apply. Follow the opt-out instructions in the message, including replying STOP where offered, or contact our team to stop texts or get help.
- Marketing email: use the unsubscribe link, when provided, or contact us to change your preferences.
- Phone preferences: tell us if you do not want marketing calls or would prefer a different contact method.
Opting out of marketing does not cancel a service booking. We may still need to contact you about an existing transaction or request through a permitted channel. Consent to optional marketing is separate from requesting service; this policy is not a marketing opt-in.
Messaging platforms and carriers process information needed to deliver messages, such as your telephone number, message content, and delivery or preference records.
06. Cookies, analytics & advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar storage or tracking technologies for functions such as sign-in, forms, security, preferences, and website performance. It also uses Google tools, including advertising conversion tracking, to understand visits and actions associated with advertising.
These tools can process identifiers, IP addresses, device details, visited pages, and interactions. Embedded maps, reviews, payment tools, or other third-party content may also receive technical information when used or loaded.
You can manage cookies through your browser and adjust advertising preferences through the relevant provider. Blocking cookies may affect sign-in, forms, checkout, or other features. A cookie notice being dismissed does not necessarily disable tracking. See how Google uses information from partner sites and Google’s advertising controls.
07. Service providers & other disclosures
Information is handled by our team and providers supporting the relevant activity. These include:
- GorillaDesk: customer management, scheduling, service records, and related account communications. See GorillaDesk’s privacy notice.
- Retell AI: virtual assistant and voice-processing services described above. See Retell AI’s privacy notice.
- Payment providers: tools used to process transactions, including Stripe or PayPal where selected at checkout.
- Website and communication providers: hosting, email delivery, telephone or messaging services, analytics, security, and technical support.
We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, to protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, obtain professional advice, or in connection with a business transfer. Providers may process information outside your state or country, subject to the arrangements and legal requirements that apply.
Third-party websites and platforms have their own practices. Their inclusion here does not mean every provider receives every category of information. Contact us if you need details about a particular interaction or disclosure.
08. Careers & recruitment
When you apply, we collect the information and optional PDF résumé you submit, including experience, availability, skills, and role-specific qualifications. For field roles, questions may address licensing, driving eligibility, and willingness to complete appropriate checks because employees may enter customer properties.
We use this information to review suitability, manage recruitment, and contact you about your application. Applications and résumés are reviewed through our private hiring dashboard by authorized staff. Application emails provide a reference and next steps.
Answering a screening question does not by itself authorize a background report or driving-record check. Any such check requires the separate notices or permissions applicable to it. Our website does not automatically reject applicants based on the screening questionnaire.
To request a correction or discuss removal of an application, contact us with your application reference. Please do not send identification documents unless we request them through an appropriate process.
09. Retention & security
Retention depends on the type of information, the service or recruitment purpose, legal recordkeeping requirements, disputes, security needs, and the systems involved. Customer records, call records, applications, messages, and backups may have different retention periods. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request deletion; legal requirements or legitimate recordkeeping needs may limit what can be removed.
We use measures intended to protect information, including access controls and restricted access to application files. No website, transmission, or storage system can guarantee complete security. Keep account credentials private and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.
10. Your choices & privacy requests
You can contact us to ask what information we hold about you, request access or correction, request deletion, or change communication preferences. Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have additional rights to receive a copy, restrict certain processing, opt out of certain disclosures or advertising uses, or appeal a decision about a request.
Use the contact details below and tell us the type of request. We may need to verify your identity or authority before releasing or changing information. We will consider requests under applicable law and explain relevant limits; we may retain records required for legal obligations or an ongoing transaction.
11. Children & policy updates
Our services and online experiences are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 17. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our site or communications, contact us so we can review and address it.
We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Where required, material changes will be accompanied by additional notice or a separate consent request.
